Ambleside RFC has been a proud part of the rugby union community in Ambleside, Cumbria since 1935. The club welcomes players of all ages and abilities and is committed to developing rugby from grassroots to senior level.
Our Story
History & Heritage
Ambleside RFC was founded in 1935, giving the club over 90 years of history in Ambleside, Cumbria. Over the decades the club has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving community organisation, nurturing generations of rugby union players and contributing significantly to local sport.
