The Pirates represent Cornwall and are one of the most ambitious Championship clubs, backed by passionate Cornish support.
Cornish Pirates has been a proud part of the rugby union community in Penzance, Cornwall since 1999. The club welcomes players of all ages and abilities and is committed to developing rugby from grassroots to senior level.
Our Story
History & Heritage
Cornish Pirates was founded in 1999, giving the club over 26 years of history in Penzance, Cornwall. Over the decades the club has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving community organisation, nurturing generations of rugby union players and contributing significantly to local sport.
