Gala RFC is a rugby union club in Galashiels, Selkirkshire, founded in 1875. It is a Galashiels Borders club, proud rivals of Melrose and Hawick in the heartland of Scottish rugby.

History of Gala RFC
Gala RFC dates from 1875, during rugby's first great expansion. The SRU had formed in 1873, and clubs were springing up in towns across Scotland.
In total, the club has more than 150 years behind it. As a result, it holds a special place for supporters across Selkirkshire.
