History of Heworth ARLFC
Heworth ARLFC formed in 1920, during the Northern Union era. In fact, the governing body only adopted the name Rugby Football League in 1922.
Today, the club carries more than 100 years of history into every season. For players in York, North Yorkshire, that heritage adds real meaning to pulling on the shirt.
