History of Hull Kingston Rovers
Hull Kingston Rovers dates from 1883, before the 1895 split that created the Northern Union. That breakaway, agreed in Huddersfield, became the game we now call rugby league.
That gives the club more than 140 years of rugby in Hull, East Yorkshire. In addition, generations of local players, coaches and volunteers have shaped its story.
