History of Loughborough Lightning
Loughborough Lightning arrived in 2017, during the professional era of women's rugby. The top flight relaunched as the Premier 15s in 2017 and became Premiership Women's Rugby in 2023.
The club is still young, yet it already plays a key role in the women's game. As a result, supporters in Loughborough, Leicestershire have a top-level team to follow.
