Borders club famous for inventing the sevens format of rugby. Their Sevens tournament is the oldest in the world.
Melrose RFC has been a proud part of the rugby union community in Melrose, Roxburghshire since 1877. The club welcomes players of all ages and abilities and is committed to developing rugby from grassroots to senior level.

Melrose RFC was founded in 1877, giving the club over 148 years of history in Melrose, Roxburghshire. Over the decades the club has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving community organisation, nurturing generations of rugby union players and contributing significantly to local sport.
