Newtown RFC has been a proud part of the rugby union community in Newtown, Powys since 1883. The club welcomes players of all ages and abilities and is committed to developing rugby from grassroots to senior level.
Our Story
History & Heritage
Newtown RFC was founded in 1883, giving the club over 142 years of history in Newtown, Powys. Over the decades the club has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving community organisation, nurturing generations of rugby union players and contributing significantly to local sport.
