Reading RFC has been a proud part of the rugby union community in Reading, Berkshire since 1898. The club welcomes players of all ages and abilities and is committed to developing rugby from grassroots to senior level.
Our Story
History & Heritage
Reading RFC was founded in 1898, giving the club over 127 years of history in Reading, Berkshire. Over the decades the club has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving community organisation, nurturing generations of rugby union players and contributing significantly to local sport.
