About the Club
About Trojans RFC
Trojans Rugby Club has been part of Hampshire rugby since 1874, making it one of the county's longest-established clubs. The club plays at Stoneham Lane in Eastleigh, on the northern edge of Southampton.
Trojans RFC is the rugby section of a multi-sport club that also runs cricket, hockey and squash. As a result, the shared site keeps the clubhouse busy all year round. Over the years, the club has produced county and international players.
Trojans rugby is open to everyone, because the club runs men's and ladies' senior sides, a girls' pathway from under-13 to under-18, and mixed junior rugby. So if you are comparing Southampton rugby clubs, Trojans covers men, women, girls and juniors at one site.

Our Story
History & Heritage
Trojans formed in 1874, just three years after the Rugby Football Union itself. As a result, the club has more than 150 years of history, and a place among the oldest names in Hampshire rugby.
The modern era has brought steady success. Trojans won Hampshire 2 in 1992–93, took the Hampshire 1 title in 2004–05 and 2006–07, and lifted the Hampshire Bowl in 2009 and 2017. They also won the London 2 promotion play-off in 2010–11.

In fact, Trojans welcomes new players throughout the season, whether you are experienced or brand new to rugby union. First, call the club to check the next training session for your age group.
