Edinburgh FP club, one of Scotland's most established clubs with a strong youth development programme.
Watsonians RFC has been a proud part of the rugby union community in Edinburgh, Midlothian since 1875. The club welcomes players of all ages and abilities and is committed to developing rugby from grassroots to senior level.
Our Story
History & Heritage
Watsonians RFC was founded in 1875, giving the club over 150 years of history in Edinburgh, Midlothian. Over the decades the club has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving community organisation, nurturing generations of rugby union players and contributing significantly to local sport.
