Sandal RFC has been a proud part of the rugby union community in Wakefield, West Yorkshire since 1927. The club welcomes players of all ages and abilities and is committed to developing rugby from grassroots to senior level.
Our Story
History & Heritage
Sandal RFC was founded in 1927, giving the club over 98 years of history in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Over the decades the club has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving community organisation, nurturing generations of rugby union players and contributing significantly to local sport.
