Step 1: Know Which Code You Want
There are two main codes of rugby in the UK:
- Rugby Union — 15-a-side, the most widely played form. Governed by England Rugby, Scottish Rugby, the WRU and Ulster Rugby.
- Rugby League — 13-a-side, predominant in Yorkshire and the North West of England.
